Description

Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometric) GZ-102 are designed for installation of resistance thermometers (RT), thermoelectric converters (TC) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetal sensors and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves protect these instruments from mechanical and chemical effects of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.

Installing temperature sensors using GZ-102 sleeves significantly extends the service life of these sensors. Thermometric protective sleeves can be mounted on pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, tanks and other facilities. Sleeve installation is performed using threaded or welded connections.

Thermometric sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe according to BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch threads according to NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Mounting thread can be made on Customer's request according to other standards.

Sleeves GZ-102 are intended for temperature sensor models 001 and 102.

Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometric) GZ-102 are made of steel 12Х18Н10Т according to EN 10088. At Customer's request, thermometric sleeves can be made from other steels.

AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т – heat-resistant, corrosion and heat-resistant austenitic steel. Has high strength and durability. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in highly aggressive environments – up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately active environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in mildly aggressive environments.
12Х1МФ – heat-resistant pearlitic steel resistant to prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C.

Mounting sleeves GZ-102 should be operated at flow velocities and pressures not exceeding the values indicated in the tables for specific sleeve modifications. Maximum flow velocity and nominal pressure of the medium are determined considering ensuring the static strength of the sleeve.

Thermometric sleeves of all modifications are sealed. They undergo acceptance tests with test pressure Ppr and should be operated at working pressure Pr according to GOST 3634-79.

Conditional designation of protective sleeves (mounting, thermometric) DPP-GZ-102 according to TUU 26.5-32195027-008 is valid until 2016.
