Description

Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometer) GZ-001 are designed for mounting resistance thermometers (RT), thermoelectric converters (TC) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves protect these instruments from mechanical and chemical influences of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.

Mounting temperature sensors using GZ-001 sleeves significantly extends the service life of these sensors. Protective thermometer sleeves can be installed in pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, reservoirs, and other objects. Sleeve installation is performed using threaded or welded connections.

Thermometer sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe threads BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch threads NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Upon customer's request, mounting threads can be made according to other standards.

Sleeves GZ-001 are designed for temperature sensors models 001 and 102.

Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometer) GZ-001 are made of steel grade 12X18H10T according to EN 10088. On customer's request, manufacturing from other steel grades is possible.

AISI 321 (12X18H10T, 08X18H10T) — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Has high strength and durability. Suitable for temperatures up to 600 °C, and in highly aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 (08X18H10) — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately aggressive environments.
AISI 316L (03X17H14M3) — corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti (10X17H13M2T) — corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 (12X17) — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in weakly aggressive environments.
12X1MF — heat-resistant, resistant to prolonged high temperatures pearlitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C.

GZ-001 mounting sleeves must be operated at flow velocities and pressures not exceeding the values specified in tables for specific sleeve modifications. Maximum flow velocity and nominal pressure of the working environment are determined based on ensuring the static strength of the sleeve.

All thermometer sleeves of all modifications are hermetic. They undergo acceptance tests with test pressure Ppr and must be operated at working pressure Pr in accordance with GOST 3634-79.
