Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometer) GZ-004 are intended for mounting resistance thermometers (RT), thermoelectric transducers (TT) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves shield these devices from mechanical and chemical effects of the working environment and increased dynamic loads. Installation of temperature sensors using GZ-004 sleeves significantly prolongs the service life of these sensors. Protective thermometer sleeves can be installed... Read more GZ-004 Sleeves
Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometer) GZ-004 are designed for the installation of resistance thermometers (RT), thermoelectric transducers (TT) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves protect these devices from mechanical and chemical influence of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.
Installing temperature sensors using GZ-004 sleeves allows significantly prolonging the service life of these sensors. Protective thermometer sleeves can be installed in pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, tanks, and other objects. Installation of sleeves is performed using threaded or welded connections.
Thermometer sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe according to BSPP / ISO 228-1, and taper inch threads according to NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Mounting threads can be made upon Customer’s request according to other standards.
Sleeves GZ-004 and GZ-104 are intended for temperature sensors models 002, 003, and 001.
Protective sleeves (mounting, thermometer) GZ-004 are made from 12Х18Н10Т steel according to EN 10088. Upon Customer’s request, thermometer sleeves can be manufactured from other steels.
AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature stainless austenitic steel. Has high strength and durability. Suitable for use up to 600 °C, and in very aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used up to 400 °C in moderately aggressive environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. Used up to 400 °C in mildly aggressive environments.
12Х1МФ – heat-resistant, resistant to prolonged high-temperature exposure, pearlitic steel. Used up to 600 °C.
Sleeves GZ-004 should be operated at flow velocities and pressures not exceeding values specified in tables for particular sleeve modifications. Maximum flow velocity and nominal pressure of the environment are determined based on the static strength requirements of the sleeve.
All modifications of thermometer sleeves are sealed. They undergo acceptance tests with a test pressure P_test and should be operated at working pressure P_work according to GOST 3634-79.
The conditional designation of Protective Sleeves (mounting, thermometer) DPP-GZ-004 according to TUU 26.5-32195027-008 is valid until 2016.
