Protective (installation, thermometer) sleeves GZ-101 are designed for mounting resistance thermometers (RT), thermoelectric transducers (TT) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves shield these devices from mechanical and chemical effects of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.
Mounting temperature sensors using GZ-101 sleeves allows significantly extending the service life of these sensors. Protective thermometer sleeves can be mounted on pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, tanks, and other objects. The installation of sleeves is performed by threaded or welded connections.
Thermometer sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Upon customer's request, the mounting thread can be made according to other standards.
Sleeves GZ-101 are intended for temperature sensor models 001 and 102.
Protective (installation, thermometer) sleeves GZ-001 are made of steel 12Х18Н10Т according to EN 10088. Upon customer's request, thermometer sleeves can be manufactured from other steels.
AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т is a heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature austenitic steel. It has high strength and durability. It is used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 is a heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately active environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 is a corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т is a corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 is a heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 400 °C in mild environments.
12Х1МФ is a heat-resistant, long-term high-temperature resistant pearlitic steel. It is used at temperatures up to 600 °C.
Mounting sleeves GZ-101 should be operated at flow velocities and pressures not exceeding the values indicated in the tables for specific sleeve modifications. The maximum flow velocity and nominal pressure of the medium are determined considering the static strength of the sleeve.
All thermometer sleeves of all modifications are sealed. They undergo acceptance testing with test pressure Ppr and should be operated at working pressure Pr according to GOST 3634-79.
