Description

Protective sleeves (installation, thermometric) GZ-104 are designed for mounting resistance thermometers (RTD), thermoelectric converters (TC) (thermocouples), glass thermometers, bimetallic sensors, and pressure gauges. Protective sleeves shield these instruments from mechanical and chemical effects of the working environment and increased dynamic loads.

Mounting temperature sensors using GZ-104 sleeves significantly extends the service life of these sensors. Thermometric protective sleeves can be installed in pressure vessels, steam boilers, pipelines, tanks, and other facilities. Sleeve installation is performed using threaded or welded connections.

Thermometric sleeves are manufactured with mounting threads: metric per ISO 724, cylindrical pipe per BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch per NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Mounting threads can be custom made according to other standards upon Customer request.

Sleeves GZ-104 and GZ-004 are intended for temperature sensors models 002, 003, and 001.

Protective sleeves (installation, thermometric) GZ-104 are made of steel 12Х18Н10Т according to EN 10088. Upon Customer request, thermometric sleeves can be produced from other steels.

AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т – heat-resistant, corrosion and heat-resistant austenitic steel. It has high strength and durability. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately aggressive environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in mildly aggressive environments.
12Х1МФ – heat-resistant, resistant to prolonged high temperatures pearlitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C.

Installation sleeves GZ-104 should be operated at flow velocities and pressures not exceeding the values specified in the tables for specific sleeve modifications. The maximum flow velocity and nominal pressure of the medium are defined based on ensuring the static strength of the sleeve.

Thermometric sleeves of all modifications are hermetic. They are subject to acceptance testing with test pressure Ptest and must be operated at working pressure Pr according to GOST 3634-79.

Conditional designation of Protective Sleeves (installation, thermometric) DPP-GZ-102 according to TUU 26.5-32195027-008, valid until 2016.
