Medium cooler for pressure gauges

Medium cooler for pressure gauges is designed to cool and prevent damage to pressure gauges and pressure sensors measuring the pressure of steam, hot liquid, and other media with high operating temperatures, providing protection from direct exposure to hot medium. The use of the cooler allows reducing the medium temperature to the converter's working temperature by heat dissipation.

The medium cooler for pressure gauges is manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe thread BSPP / ISO 228-1, and conical inch thread NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Upon customer's request, mounting threads can be made according to other standards.

The cooler is made of 12Х18Н10Т steel according to EN 10088. Upon customer's request, production with different steel grades is possible.

AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and heat-proof austenitic steel grade. It has high strength and durability. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in very aggressive environments – up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel grade, used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately active environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel grade, used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т – corrosion-resistant austenitic steel grade, used at temperatures up to 600 °C in very aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 – heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel, used at temperatures up to 400 °C in low-aggressive environments.
12Х1МФ – heat-resistant, pearlitic steel resistant to long-term exposure to high temperatures, used at temperatures up to 600 °C.

The medium coolers for pressure gauges must be operated at working pressures and temperature modes not exceeding the limits established by applicable regulations and state control rules for the given material and operating conditions.

Installation of coolers on-site is carried out according to the instructions for the equipment on which they are installed.

Characteristics of the medium cooler for pressure gauges:

Inlet temperature – 250 °C, outlet temperature – 45 °C, at ambient temperature 20 °C.

Manufacture of coolers with other connection and overall dimensions according to Customer's drawings is possible.
