Eight-Channel Time Relay RV8

The eight-channel time relay RV8 is designed to count time intervals and automatically switch on or off executive devices with a set periodicity across eight channels.
It allows implementing the start and stop of equipment at certain time intervals, controlling various time processes.
The device is manufactured in a panel-mounted housing and in two power supply versions: from an AC network with a nominal voltage of 110..240 V and from a DC source with a nominal voltage of 12..24 V. The device is supplied complete with the output expansion unit BR8, to which output devices are connected. Control buttons are connected to the time relay, and control of output devices is carried out via the RS-485 interface (ModBus RTU protocol) and the BR8 output expansion unit.

The device enables the following functions

• automatic counting of time intervals of set duration across eight channels;
• switching of external electrical circuits;
• display of timer time on an LED digital indicator;
• light indication of operating modes;
• control of device operation by supplying external control signals ("Pause" and "Reset" buttons) for each channel separately;
• ability to change device operating parameters;
• RS-485 interface (ModBus RTU protocol) for controlling output devices via BR8.
