Description

Four-channel eight-digit pulse counter SI4-8 is designed for accurate counting of pulses received at the device inputs through four independent channels. The device is ideal for automating production accounting, measuring displacements, equipment operating time, and controlling technological processes.

Main features of the SI4-8 counter include:

  • automatic pulse counting from various sources on four channels;
  • multiple counting modes: direct, reverse, and reversible;
  • time counter mode for equipment operating time accounting;
  • measurement of the rate of change of physical quantities (e.g., flow) per unit time;
  • results retention during power outages;
  • software multiplication and division of pulses by specified coefficients;
  • results display on the built-in LED digital display;
  • control of external executive devices;
  • debounce filtering to improve counting accuracy;
  • alarm signaling for limit exceedances;
  • possibility of software configuration of operation algorithms;
  • optional RS-485 interface with galvanic isolation for connection to automation systems.
