Description

Wireless interface converters (WIC) RS-485 are designed to organize data exchange between remote devices (PCs, instruments, and their combinations). The device allows transmitting/receiving data in half-duplex mode. It is optimally suited for operation with the ModBus RTU protocol.
Available electrical signal interfaces include: USB (compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0), RS-485 / V.11 (EIA-485).

Main characteristics of wireless interface converters

  • Frequency range 433 MHz (optionally 866 MHz / 916 MHz);
  • Number of available channels up to 90;
  • Transmitter power up to 10 mW (no "Ukrchastotnagliad" permit required);
  • Communication range up to 200 m (line of sight) and up to 50 m indoors;
  • Operating modes: Master / Slave / Repeater;
  • When connected via USB interface, the WIC does not require an additional external power supply.

The proposed WIC configuration system allows easy selection of optimal placement locations.

At present, the enterprise manufactures a universal WIC model USB / RS-485 / Radio.

The WIC delivery set includes: USB cable, user manual, and necessary software for connection to a PC.
