Electromagnetic flow meter EPS

The electromagnetic flow meter EPS (models EPS-15, EPS-32, EPS-50) combines an electromagnetic flow sensor (EMD) and an electronic secondary converter (PV) in a single device. The instrument provides high-precision measurement of current and total volume of liquid in liters, average volumetric flow rate in l/s and m3/h.

In dosing mode, the device controls an external actuator. For data collection, an RS-485 interface with ModBus RTU protocol is provided, as well as a pulse output with adjustable frequency and pulse width.

The sensor has a fluoroplastic coating without moving parts, which eliminates additional pressure loss. It can be washed with hot detergents, blown with air, and sterilized with steam without disassembly.

Connection to the pipeline is made using an Rd78 flange per ST REV 307-76 (included). DIN or Clamp connections according to ISO 2852 are available, allowing the flow meter to be used in the food industry, particularly for milk, beer, and other beverages.

Powered from an external source, for example, power supply BP2-50 24V. The housing and sensor are made of stainless steel, ensuring application in food and pharmaceutical industries.

EPS is a modern replacement for the EPS-50 flow meter previously manufactured by NIO-35.
