Measurer / indicator I4 measures input physical quantity on four channels using standard TO, PT, AN and AT sensors and has alarm output.
The four-channel measurer I4 is designed to measure and monitor from 1 to 4 physical quantities and display measured values on the built-in digital indicator.
I4 has four independent measurement channels, an alarm output (opto-triac (OS), optocoupler (OK) or relay (R)), RS-485 interface with ModBus RTU protocol. The measurer has two power supply versions: AC voltage 90..240V (IPI) or DC voltage source 12..24V (IP24).
Purpose
The I4 is intended for monitoring temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, or other physical quantities in several zones simultaneously (up to 4) and alarm notification of any controlled parameter going beyond preset limits (one alarm output).
I4 is used as an alarm indicator in furnaces, drying chambers in the food, metallurgical and other industries.
General functions and operating modes
- Measurement of object temperature using resistance temperature detectors (temperature sensors) TSM (50M, 100M) and TSP (50P, 100P, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000), thermocouples (TXK, TXA, TJk etc.), sensors with standardized output current signals AT (0..5 mA, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) and voltage AN (0..1 V, 0..5 V, 0..10 V);
- Generation of "Alarm" signal (with capability to output control signal to output stage) when the measured physical quantity is outside the preset alarm range, as well as on sensor break or short circuit;
- Function for calculating and displaying square root of measured value (e.g. for instantaneous flow measurement from AN and AT sensors);
- Scaling of measurement scale;
- Light indication of operating modes;
- Software change of transformation characteristic parameters (slope, offset);
- Digital measurement filtering (filter depth up to 10 measurement periods);
- Change of measured value indication period;
- Digital calibration of input channels;
- Password protection of parameters;
- Built-in DC voltage source (24V, 100mA) for powering active sensors or connecting alarm relay;
- RS-485 ModBus RTU interface for recording measured values on PC or working with PLC.
