Eight-Channel Measurer I8

The eight-channel measurer I8 (wall-mounted version) is designed to measure and control from 1 to 8 physical quantities and display the measured values on built-in eight digital indicators.
I8 has eight independent measurement channels and the capability for simultaneous indication of eight values.
Produced only in IP24 enclosure: powered from a DC source of 12..24 V.
The I8 is intended for monitoring temperature, pressure, humidity, flow, or other physical quantities in multiple zones simultaneously (up to 8) and features an alarm output signaling when any monitored parameter exceeds preset limits.
I8 is used as an alarm indicator in furnaces, drying chambers in food, metallurgical, and other industries.

General Functions and Operating Modes

• Measurement of object temperatures using resistance temperature detectors (temperature sensors) TSM (50M, 100M) and TSP (50P, 100P, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000), thermocouples (TXK, TXA, TZhK, etc.), sensors with standardized current output AT (0..5 mA, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) and voltage output AN (0..1 V, 0..5 V, 0..10 V);
• Polling instruments on the network via RS-485 interface using ModBus protocol (device acts as master);
• Generating an "Alarm" signal (with the ability to provide a control signal to the output stage) when the measured physical quantity value is outside the preset alarm range, as well as in case of sensor input break or short circuit;
• Function for calculating and displaying the square root of the measured value (for example, to determine instantaneous flow from AN and AT sensors);
• Scaling of the measurement range;
• Light indication of operating modes;
• Software adjustment of conversion characteristic parameters (slope, offset);
• Digital filtering of measurements (filter depth up to 10 measurement periods);
• Changing the display period of measured values;
• Digital calibration of input channels;
• Password protection of parameters;
• RS-485 ModBus RTU interface for recording measured values on a PC or for PLC operation.
