Description

The dual-channel PID controller for controlling gate valves and three-position valves RP2-Z (DIN rail) is designed to receive and convert signals from resistance temperature detectors (RTD), thermoelectric converters (TC), and sensors with standardized output current (AT) and voltage (AN) signals into temperature values (or other physical quantities), as well as to display them on built-in digital indicators while simultaneously regulating the temperature of objects by the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law across two channels.

RP2-Z enables control of an electric drive of a shut-off regulating (KZR) or three-position valve regardless of its position by a proportional-integral-derivative or pulse law across two channels.

The dual-channel controller RP2-Z automatically monitors sensor status and ensures the measured temperature remains within the set measurement range.

Main functions of the dual-channel PID controller for controlling gate valves and three-position valves RP2-Z:

  • Measurement of temperature, humidity, pressure (or other physical parameters) of various objects via one or two channels using standard sensors:
    resistance temperature detectors [RTD], thermoelectric converters [TC],
    sensors with standardized output current signals 0..5 mA, 0(4)..20 mA [AT] and
    voltage signals 0..1V, 0..10V [AN] through two channels;
  • Display on built-in LED digital indicators of current and set temperature values across two channels;
  • Creation of weather-dependent controller with two outputs (automatic offset of set temperature of the first channel by temperature of the second channel);
  • Humidity control (psychrometric method);
  • Possible production of devices for operation with digital humidity sensors (indicate DVT input when ordering);
  • Control of physical quantity by proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law across two channels;
  • Control of electric drive of shut-off regulating (KZR) or three-position valve without accounting for its position by PID or pulse law across two channels;
  • Maintenance of object temperature by proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law in the "heater-cooler" system across two channels;
  • Ability to change set temperature values (setpoints) for the PID controller;
  • Ability to automatically adjust PID controller coefficients;
  • Data exchange with a personal computer via RS-485 interface;
  • The device has two four-digit seven-segment indicators;
  • Two power supply modifications: from 220V AC mains or from 12..24V DC source;
