Replacement RP2-U
The PID regulator RP1-3 is designed for controlling the electric actuator of shut-off regulating (SRV) or three-way valves without considering valve position using PID or pulse laws, and also provides regulation of an input physical quantity according to the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law in a "heater-cooler" system.
The RP1-3 device is designed for receiving and converting signals coming from resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), thermoelectric converters (TCs), and sensors with standardized output current (AT) and voltage (AN) signals into temperature values (or other physical quantities) and displaying them on built-in digital indicators, while simultaneously controlling the object temperature according to a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control law.
The RP1-3 allows controlling the electric actuator of a shut-off regulating valve (SRV) or three-way valve without considering its position, using PID or pulse control laws.
The device automatically monitors the status of sensors and whether the measured temperature remains within the established measurement range.
Main functions of the RP1-3:
- Measurement of temperature, humidity, pressure (or other physical parameters) of various objects via one or two channels using standard sensors:
Resistance temperature detectors [RTD], thermoelectric converters [TC],
sensors with standardized output current signals 0..5 mA, 0(4)..20 mA [AT] and
voltage signals 0..1V, 0..10V [AN]; - Display of current and set temperature values on built-in LED digital indicators;
- Regulation of physical quantities according to the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control law;
- Control of electric actuators of shut-off regulating (SRV) or three-way valves without accounting for their position, via PID or pulse control laws;
- Maintaining the object's temperature using the PID control law in a "heater-cooler" system;
- Ability to change the set temperature values (setpoints) for the PID controller;
- Capability for automatic tuning of PID controller coefficients;
- Data exchange with a personal computer via RS-485 interface;
- The device can be manufactured with one or two four-digit seven-segment indicators;
- Two power supply options: from 220V AC mains or from 12..24V DC source;
- LED indication of device operating mode and "Error" signal formation.
