Description

The RP2-06C Temperature Controller can be used to control various technological processes in industry, agriculture, and municipal services.

The RP2-06C Temperature Controller is designed to receive and convert signals coming from resistance temperature detectors (RTD 50M) into temperature values of direct and return water and display them on the built-in digital indicator while simultaneously regulating the object's temperature according to the PID control law.

The RP2-06C Temperature Controller automatically monitors the status of sensors, the presence of measured values within the set range, the correctness of parameter input, and the device's calibration. Based on the monitoring results, an "Error" signal is generated.

Temperature sensors (temperature detectors TSM, TSP, TXA, TXK, TJK, thermometers, RTD, thermocouples, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000) are designed to measure the temperature of the surrounding environment, liquids, gaseous and bulk chemically non-aggressive media, as well as the surface of solid bodies in various industries.

Classification of REGMIK temperature sensors by type of measuring (sensitive) element:

  • Resistance temperature detectors (thermometers) - TSM, TSP;
  • Thermoelectric converters (thermocouples) - TXA, TXK, TJK;
  • Semiconductor converters - TP.

Temperature is the most commonly measured parameter, and overheating is one of the most adverse factors in equipment operation, which is why there is a wide range of applications for temperature sensors.

The RP2-06C Temperature Controller allows the following functions:

  • Measurement of the object's temperature by two channels;
  • Display of the current temperature value on a built-in LED digital indicator from one channel;
  • Regulation of the direct water temperature using two-position or PID control;
  • Control of additional devices (in particular, a recirculation pump);
  • Generation of an "Alarm" signal when exceeding a set emergency temperature value;
  • Generation of "Alarm 1" and "Alarm 2" signals in case of short circuit of external control contacts;
  • Capability to network controllers into a single system for cascade regulation;
  • Generation of an "Error" signal;
  • Software alteration of the conversion characteristic parameters.

Modifications of the RP2-06C temperature controller manufacture:

- Panel-mounted design;

- Powered by 220 V AC mains;

- Types of input signals from resistance temperature detectors (RTD).

FAQ

Questions and answers

For which sensors is the RP2-06C temperature controller intended?
The RP2-06C controller is designed to receive and convert signals from resistance temperature detectors such as TSM 50M into temperature values of direct and return water, subsequently displaying them on the digital indicator.
What regulation functions does the RP2-06C perform?
The RP2-06C performs temperature control based on the PID law and can manage additional devices, including a recirculation pump, and generates "Alarm" signals when preset thresholds are exceeded.
Does the RP2-06C controller perform self-monitoring of its equipment status?
The device automatically monitors the operation of sensors, the correctness of parameter input, and whether measured values are within range, generating an "Error" signal if deviations occur.
How many measurement channels does the RP2-06C have and what does it display?
The controller has two temperature measurement channels, with the ability to display the current value on the digital indicator from one channel and regulates the direct water temperature.
What power supply and design does the RP2-06C temperature controller have?
The controller is manufactured in a panel-mounted design powered by 220 V AC mains and supports resistance temperature detectors as input signal types.
