Single-Channel Pulse Counter SI1-8

The single-channel eight-digit pulse counter SI1-8 is designed to count pulses received at the device input. The instrument can be used to determine the quantity of produced products (in any units of length, weight, etc.), measure displacement, bread baking time, and more.

The pulse counter enables the following functions

• automatic counting of pulses arriving at its input;
• direct, reverse, or reversible pulse counting;
• operation with an encoder;
• counting equipment operating time (time counter);
• measurement of the rate of change of a physical quantity per unit time (flow meter);
• automatic saving of count results upon power loss;
• distribution and multiplication of counted pulses by coefficients entered by the user via software;
• display of pulse count results on a built-in LED digital indicator;
• control of an external actuator;
• elimination of contact bounce effects of the input sensor on pulse counting results;
• light indication of device operating mode;
• generation of an "Alarm" signal when the counted pulse number exceeds the maximum value displayable on the indicator;
• software parameter adjustment of the device's operation algorithm;
• possibility to manufacture the device with an isolated RS-485 interface.
