Description

Air temperature sensors TSM-303p, TSP-303p, TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TZHK-303p group 3 are designed for measuring air temperature in various industrial sectors. They have small dimensions, improved thermal inertia characteristics, and do not require complex installation work when mounted at the site.

Temperature is the most common measured parameter, and overheating is one of the most negative factors in equipment operation, so there are many methods and places for using temperature sensors.

The operating principle of resistance temperature detectors (air temperature sensors TSM-303p, TSP-303p) is based on the change in electrical resistance of conductors and semiconductors depending on temperature. The material used to manufacture such sensors must have a high temperature coefficient of resistance, preferably a linear dependence of resistance on temperature, reproducibility of properties, and inertness to environmental influences. Platinum best meets all the above properties; copper meets them somewhat less.

Thermocouples (air temperature sensors TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TZHK-303p) are exclusively differential temperature sensors. They generate an electrical signal proportional to the temperature difference between two different points. Therefore, the junction (splice) used to measure the required temperature is called the "hot" junction, and the other unavoidable junction is called the "cold" junction.

Classification of air temperature sensors 303p REGMIK by type of measuring (sensitive) element

  • resistance temperature detectors (thermometers) - TSM, TSP;
  • thermoelectric transducers (thermocouples) - TXA, TXK, TZHK;
  • semiconductor converters - TP.

Main technical characteristics of air temperature sensors TSM-303p, TSP-303p, TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TZHK-303p:

  • accuracy class — 1 / 3B, A, B, C (for resistance temperature detectors TSM and TSP), 1 and 2 (for thermocouples TXA, TXK, TZHK);
  • connection scheme of the sensitive element (SE) — two-, three-, four-wire;
  • by type of SE they are divided into resistance temperature detectors (50M, 100M, 50P, 100P, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Pt2000, Pt10000), semiconductor (DS18B20);
  • construction of temperature detectors — non-detachable;
  • insulation resistance — not less than 100 MOhm.

Air temperature sensors TSM-303p, TSP-303p, TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TZHK-303p can be made with a universal output — current (4..20 mA) or voltage (0..10 V).

What are the air temperature sensors of the 303p series designed for?
Air temperature sensors TCM-303p, TSP-303p, TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TJK-303p are designed to measure air temperature in various industries. They have small dimensions, improved thermal inertia characteristics, and do not require complex installation work during mounting.
What is the operating principle of resistance temperature detectors TCM-303p and TSP-303p?
Resistance temperature detectors TCM-303p and TSP-303p operate based on the change in electrical resistance of conductors and semiconductors depending on temperature, using materials with a high temperature coefficient of resistance, most often platinum or copper.
How do thermocouples TXA-303p, TXK-303p and TJK-303p work?
Thermocouples TXA-303p, TXK-303p, TJK-303p generate an electrical signal proportional to the temperature difference between the 'hot' (measuring) and 'cold' (reference) junctions, which allows measuring air temperature.
What connection options and outputs are available for the 303p air temperature sensors?
Sensors can have 2-, 3-, or 4-wire connection schemes for the sensitive element. Additionally, they can be made with a universal output in the form of current (4..20 mA) or voltage (0..10 V).
What are the main technical characteristics of the 303p series air temperature sensors?
Key technical characteristics include accuracy up to class 1 or 3B for resistance temperature detectors and 1 or 2 for thermocouples, insulation resistance of at least 100 MΩ, non-disassemblable construction, and a wide range of types of sensitive elements (Pt100, Pt500, DS18B20, etc.).
