Conductometric level sensors DU are intended for joint operation with level controllers RU.
To extend the working part of the sensor electrodes, threading is provided at the end of the electrode for user convenience.
The cost of level sensors with electrode length > 100 mm is 1320 UAH + 30 UAH for every additional 100 mm.
Conductometric level sensors DU-003 are designed to signal the levels of electrically conductive liquids (water, milk, food products - weakly acidic, alkaline, etc.).
In the simplest form, the conductometric level sensor DU-003 consists of stainless steel electrodes, one of which serves as a common electrode in the control circuit and is installed in the tank so that its working part is constantly in contact with the liquid. In particular, the common electrode can be the conductive body of the tank containing the liquid. The other electrodes perform the signaling function and are located at specified levels to be monitored.
Single-electrode level sensors are suitable for operation in metal tanks of closed or open type.
The conductometric level sensor DU-003 is manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe thread BSPP / ISO 228-1 and conical inch thread NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. The mounting thread can be made to Customer’s requirements according to other standards.
For installation on site, the level sensors are equipped with standard threads M20x1.5, M16x1.5, or G1/2.
Both horizontal and vertical installation of the conductometric level sensor DU-003 with connector is possible.
To extend the working part of the electrodes, the user can use the thread at the end of the electrode.
Conductometric level sensors are made of steel grade 12X18H10T according to EN 10088. Upon Customer request, thermometer sleeves can be manufactured from other steels.
AISI 321 12X18H10T 08X18H10T — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant austenitic steel. Has high strength and durability. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in highly aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08X18H10 — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately aggressive environments.
AISI 316L 03X17H14M3 — corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10X17H13M2T — corrosion-resistant austenitic steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12X17 — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in mildly aggressive environments.
12X1MF — heat-resistant, pearlitic steel resistant to prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C.
Electrode diameter is 6 mm.
Conductometric level sensors with connector are manufactured for control of environments with temperature up to 125 °C and operating pressure up to 0.8 MPa. Connector GDM 2009 is used for sealed connection of wires.
The specific electrical conductivity of the medium must be at least 0.015 S/m.
