Description

The 8-channel PID controller RP8 with discrete outputs performs regulation of an input physical quantity according to the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law across eight channels. The RP8 works in tandem with the output expansion module BR8 (sensors are connected to the RP8 device, which transmits control signals for output devices to the BR8 via RS-485).

PID controllers with discrete regulation are used for precise control of an input value using contactless actuators (triacs, thyristors, solid-state relays).

RP8 enables the following functions

  • Measurement of parameters of various objects using standard sensors (resistance temperature detectors (temperature sensors) TSM (50M, 100M) and TSP (50P, 100P, Pt100), thermocouples (THK, THA, TJK, etc.), sensors with standardized current and voltage output signals) through eight channels;
  • Display of current and set parameter values on built-in LED digital indicators;
  • Regulation of physical quantity by proportional-integral-derivative (PID) law over eight channels;
  • Light indication of device operating modes;
  • Ability to change the set value (setpoint) for the PID controller;
  • Data exchange with a personal computer via RS-485 interface;
  • Generation of an "Error" signal;
  • Software modification of conversion characteristic parameters.

Manufacturing modifications:
- panel mounting;
- power supply from 220V AC mains or 12..24V DC source;
- input signal types: RTD, TC, AN, and AT;
- output device types: R, OK, OS;
- two RS-485 interfaces (for controlling BR8 and data exchange with PC).
