Single-channel temperature controller RD1 measures, monitors, and regulates temperature or other physical quantities using standard sensors. Resistance thermometers, thermoelectric converters, and sensors with standardized current or voltage output signals can be used as sensors.
Single-Channel Temperature Controller RD1
The RD1 temperature measuring/regulating device performs two-position regulation of the input physical quantity, automatically monitors the status of the input sensor, detects when the measured input value is outside the set measurement range, verifies the correct input of parameters and calibration of the device. Based on the monitoring results, an "Error" signal is generated.
The controller is available in two versions: AC mains voltage 90..240V (IPi) or DC power supply 12..24V (IP24). It is also possible to manufacture models with two indicators to simultaneously display current, set values and alphanumeric information.
Purpose
The two-position single-channel temperature controller RD1 is designed for measuring, indicating and regulating the temperature of various media in refrigeration equipment, drying chambers, industrial/domestic ovens, and other technological equipment, as well as for measuring and controlling other physical quantities (level, flow, pressure, humidity, etc.) by two-position control using sensors with standardized analog signals.
Functions and modes of operation of the RD1 temperature controller
- Measurement of temperature (or other physical quantities) of objects using resistance thermometers (temperature sensors) TCM (50M, 100M) and TSP (50P, 100P, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000), thermocouples (TXK, TXA, TJK, etc.), sensors with standardized output current signals AT (0..5 mA, 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA) and voltage AN (0..1 V, 0..5 V, 0..10 V);
- Control of input quantity by two-position control law;
- Display of measured value on built-in LED display (digital temperature indicator);
- Scaling of measurement scale (for AN and AT sensors);
- Visual indication of operating modes (sensor failure, programming);
- Software adjustment of transformation characteristic parameters (slope, offset);
- Digital filtering of measurements (filter depth up to 10 measurement periods);
- Change of measurement display update rate;
- Digital calibration of input channel;
- Programming by buttons on the front panel of the device;
- Password protection of parameters;
- Settings retention upon power off;
- Built-in power source = 24V, 100mA for active sensors in versions with AN and/or AT;
- RS-485 ModBus RTU interface.
The RD1 temperature controller has a more advanced version — a universal device RP2-U. RP2-U is produced both for panel mounting and DIN rail installation. The new version fully replaces the functionality of the two-position single-channel temperature controller RD1 and additionally offers several added features.
