Temperature regulator for supply ventilation systems with water heater RP2-V is designed to receive and convert signals from temperature sensors with NTC 10kOhm characteristic, determine temperature values, and display them on a built-in digital indicator with simultaneous regulation of supply air and return water temperature according to PID control.
Temperature regulator for supply ventilation systems with a water heater RP2-V is designed to receive and convert signals coming from temperature sensors with an NTC 10kOhm characteristic, to determine temperature values and display them on a built-in digital indicator with simultaneous regulation of supply air temperature (and return water) according to the PID control law.
The device automatically monitors sensor status, checks whether measured values are within the set measurement range and the correctness of input parameters. Based on the control results, an "Error" signal is formed.
The device is intended for controlling and regulating air temperature in premises equipped with a supply-exhaust ventilation system with a water heater.

Functional measurement and control parameters are set by maintenance personnel and are stored in the device's non-volatile memory during power disconnection.
Temperature regulator for supply ventilation systems with water heater RP2-V operates in the following modes:
"Summer"
Transition to summer mode occurs by closing contact SK3 or automatically (SK3, SK4 open) depending on external air temperature. Automatic switching of Winter/Summer mode occurs when temperature Tnar exceeds the value set in parameter Sv_t.
Indicates supply air temperature value, with KZR closed (no signal at output No.1), pump (output No.4) off, and louvers (output No.2) and fan (output No.3) turned on. In "Standby" mode all outputs are off. Analyzes Tpr. and Tobr. to protect the heater from freezing.
In summer mode the circulation pump (output No.4) is off, but to prevent seizing it may turn on for 1 minute with a period set by parameter tnSu (in hours).
"Winter"
Transition to winter mode occurs by closing contact SK4 or automatically (SK3, SK4 open) depending on external air temperature.
Automatic switching of Summer/Winter modes occurs when Tnar drops below the threshold (Sv_t - dtSv).
In winter mode the circulation pump (output No.4) is always on.
When powering on, the device enters heater warm-up mode for a defined time set in parameter t_on. In this mode, the device sends a signal for full opening of the KZR valve with fan off and louvers closed. The warm-up mode ends automatically after time t_on expires.
The device also enters warm-up mode after exiting Summer and Standby modes, as well as after exiting the heater freeze protection.
After heater warm-up, the device switches the system to supply air temperature maintenance mode, where a proportional PID controller output controls the KZR, louvers are open, and the fan is on. The PID controller switches to channel No.1. The device controls the KZR position which regulates the flow of heat carrier to the heater.
If for a time AnFr the supply air temperature is lower than the value set in parameter StFr, or the return water temperature is lower than the value set in ovAv, the device enters the heater freeze protection mode. In this mode, a signal is sent to open KZR, louvers are closed, fan is off, and the "Alarm" output (output No.5) is enabled.
Exiting freeze protection mode happens automatically after the return water temperature rises.
Transition to operating mode happens after the warm-up time t_on elapses.
"Return water temperature overheat protection"
The device monitors the return water temperature depending on external air temperature according to the schedule Tobr.zad = f(Tnar).
If the external temperature sensor is disconnected, the device maintains the heater return water temperature at the setpoint defined in parameter Stov.
The return water temperature schedule (five points) is user-defined. The Δmax parameter is also set by the user in parameter dtov; based on this, the device calculates a critical value Tpropr.max = (Tobr.zad + dtov). If the measured return water temperature Tobir exceeds Tobr.max, the device interrupts control of KZR by Tpr. and switches control based on the mismatch signal between the current Tobinar and the calculated schedule value. The PID controller switches to channel No.2.
After the return water temperature returns to allowable limits Tpropr. < (Tobr.zad + dtov / 2), regulation continues based on Tpr.
"Standby mode"
This mode is intended for times when supply ventilation is not needed (days off, night, etc.). In this mode the device closes louvers, turns off the fan, and controls the return water temperature according to a schedule depending on external temperature. The PID controller switches to channel No.2.
Without external temperature sensor, the device maintains the heater return water temperature according to the setpoint in parameter Stov.
Exiting standby mode switches the device to heater warm-up mode.
Switching between "Operating/Standby" modes is done via external contact SK1 from the device control circuit.
"DAY/NIGHT mode"
To maintain comfortable room temperature during the day and reduce it after working hours (for energy saving), the device can switch between DAY and NIGHT modes.
Switching is done by external contact SK2 from the control circuit.
During programming, two setpoints are defined for supply air temperature: St_d – day and St_n - night.
