Level Sensor DU-002

Level sensors DU-002 are designed for signaling levels of electrically conductive liquids (water, milk, food products - weakly acidic, alkaline, etc.).

In the simplest form, the DU-002 level sensor consists of stainless steel electrodes, one of which serves as common in the control circuit and is installed in the container so that its working part constantly contacts the liquid; in particular, the common electrode can be the conductive body of the container with the liquid. Other electrodes serve as signal electrodes and are placed at specified levels to be monitored.

Single-electrode level sensors are suitable for operation in metal containers of closed or open types.

The conductometric DU-002 level sensor is manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe thread according to BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch thread according to NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. The mounting thread can be performed according to other standards upon Customer request.

For installation on site, level sensors have standard threads M20x1.5, M16x1.5 or G1/2.
Both horizontal and vertical installation of the DU-002 conductometric level sensor with connector are possible.
To extend the working part of the electrodes, the level sensor provides a thread at the end of the electrode for user use.

Conductometric level sensors are made from steel 12Х18Н10Т according to EN 10088. Upon Customer request, thermometer sleeves can be made from other steels.

AISI 321 12Х18Н10Т 08Х18Н10Т — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature resistant austenitic class steel. Has high strength and durability. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C, and in highly aggressive environments up to 350 °C.
AISI 304 08Х18Н10 — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant austenitic class steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in moderately active environments.
AISI 316L 03Х17Н14М3 — corrosion-resistant austenitic class steel. Used at temperatures up to 450 °C in most aggressive environments.
AISI 316Ti 10Х17Н13М2Т — corrosion-resistant austenitic class steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C in highly aggressive environments.
AISI 430 12Х17 — heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant ferritic class steel. Used at temperatures up to 400 °C in mildly aggressive environments.
12Х1МФ — heat-resistant, resistant to prolonged high temperature exposure pearlitic class steel. Used at temperatures up to 600 °C.

Electrode diameter — 6 mm.
DU-002 level sensors are produced for controlled medium temperature up to 125 °C with working medium pressure up to 0.8 MPa.
The specific electrical conductivity of the medium must be at least 0.015 S/m.
