Description

Level sensor DU-001 is designed for signaling levels of electrically conductive liquids (water, milk, food products - weakly acidic, alkaline, etc.).

In its simplest form, the DU-001 level sensor consists of stainless steel electrodes, one of which serves as the common electrode in the control circuit and is installed in the vessel so that its working part is constantly in contact with the liquid; notably, the conductive vessel body containing the liquid can serve as the common electrode. Other electrodes act as signaling electrodes and are located at certain levels to be monitored.

Single-electrode DU-001 level sensors are suitable for use in metal vessels of closed or open types.

The conductometric DU-001 level sensor is manufactured with mounting threads: metric according to ISO 724, cylindrical pipe according to BSPP / ISO 228-1, and tapered inch according to NPT / ANSI-ASME B1.20.1. Mounting threads can be made according to other standards upon Customer's request.

For on-site installation, the level sensors have standard threads M20x1.5, M16x1.5, or G1/2.
Horizontal and vertical installation of the conductometric DU-001 level sensor is possible.
To extend the working part of the electrode, the level sensor provides threading at the electrode’s end for user extension.

Conductometric level sensors are made of steel 12X18H10T according to EN 10088. Thermowell production from other steels is possible upon Customer request.
