Description

Temperature sensors TSM-002p, TSP-002p, TXA-002p, TXK-002p, TJK-002p, TP-002p group 0 surface converters are intended for measuring the temperature of the ambient environment, liquid, gaseous and bulk chemically non-aggressive media, as well as the surface of solid bodies in various industries.

Temperature is the most commonly measured parameter, and overheating is one of the most dangerous factors in equipment operation, so there are many ways and places to use temperature sensors.

The principle of operation of resistance temperature detectors is based on the change of electrical resistance of conductors and semiconductors depending on temperature. The material from which the sensor is made must have a high temperature coefficient of resistance, as linear a relationship between resistance and temperature as possible, good reproducibility of properties, and inertness to environmental influences. Platinum best meets these requirements; copper somewhat less so.

Thermocouples are exclusively differential temperature sensors. They generate an electrical signal proportional to the temperature difference between two points. Therefore, the junction (weld), which is used to measure the required temperature, is called the "hot" junction, while the other junction (which cannot be avoided) is called the "cold" junction.

Temperature converters (temperature sensors) of group 0 are designed for measuring temperature of the ambient environment, liquid, gaseous and bulk chemically non-aggressive media, as well as the surface of solid bodies in various industries.

Classification of 202 REGMIK temperature sensors by type of measuring (sensitive) element

  • Resistance temperature detectors (thermometers, TO) — copper TSM (50M, 100M), platinum TSP (50P, 100P), thin-film TSP (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Pt2000, Pt10000);
  • Thermoelectric temperature converters (thermocouples, PT) — TXA (K), TXK (L), TJK (J);
  • Semiconductor converters — TP (DS18B20).

Main technical specifications of 202 temperature sensors:

  • Connection scheme of sensitive element — two-, three-, four-wire;
  • Protective fitting material — stainless steel 12X18H10T;
  • Design of temperature converters (temperature sensors) — non-disassemblable;
  • Insulation resistance — not less than 100 MOhm;
  • Accuracy classes — A, B, C (for PPM, TSP), 1, 2 (for TXA, TXK, TJK).

FAQ

Questions and answers

For which media are the temperature sensors TSM-002P, TSP-002P, TXA-002P, TXK-002P, TJK-002P, TP-002P intended?
Temperature sensors TSM-002P, TSP-002P, TXA-002P, TXK-002P, TJK-002P, TP-002P are designed to measure the temperature of the ambient environment, liquid, gaseous, and bulk chemically non-aggressive media, as well as the surface of solid bodies.
How do resistance temperature detectors in these sensors work?
Resistance temperature detectors operate based on the change in electrical resistance of conductors and semiconductors depending on temperature. The best material for this is platinum; copper is also used.
What are the technical characteristics and materials used in group 0 temperature sensors?
Sensors are made from stainless steel 12X18H10T, have a non-disassemblable design, and insulation resistance of at least 100 MOhm. They are available in accuracy classes A, B, C for PPM and TSP, and classes 1 and 2 for TXA, TXK, TJK.
What types of sensitive elements are available in the 202 REGMIK temperature sensors?
The lineup includes resistance temperature detectors (TSM, TSP), thermoelectric converters (TXA, TXK, TJK), and semiconductor (TP). They differ by the type of sensitive element.
How to correctly choose a temperature sensor modification among TSM, TSP, TXA, TXK, TJK models?
To select a specific sensor modification, pay attention to the model marking, for example, TSP-101-Pt100-B 3x1-D6 L150, which indicates type, group, HSE type, accuracy class, connection scheme, and other parameters.
