Description

Temperature sensors 011 group 1 are intended for measuring the temperature of the ambient environment, liquids, gaseous and bulk chemically non-aggressive media, as well as the surfaces of solid bodies in various industries.

Temperature is the most common parameter to measure, and overheating is one of the most harmful phenomena for equipment operation, so there is a huge number of methods and places for temperature sensor applications.

The operating principle of resistance temperature detectors is based on the change in electrical resistance of conductors and semiconductors depending on temperature. The sensor material must have a high temperature coefficient of resistance, a maximally linear dependence of resistance on temperature, good reproducibility of properties, and be inert to environmental influences. Platinum best meets these requirements; copper is somewhat worse.

Thermocouples are exclusively differential temperature sensors. They produce an electrical signal proportional to the temperature difference between two different points. Therefore, the joint location (junction) that we use to measure the required temperature is called the "hot" junction, while the other junction (which cannot be avoided) is called the "cold" junction.

    • Thermoelectric converters (thermocouples) (TXA (K), TXK (L));
    • Semiconductor (DS18B20);
  • Protective armature material – stainless steel 12X18H10T;
  • Degree of protection against dust and water – IP54;
  • Construction of temperature converters (temperature sensors) – non-disassemblable;
  • Insulation resistance – at least 100 MOhm;
  • Accuracy classes – A, B, C (for RTDs), 1, 2 (for thermocouples).
